Dear Friend,
This is the most important letter that you will ever read, for your life depends upon what decision you make. The letter is not written by man, but by God Himself. This letter is written to you from God’s Holy Word, the Bible. A personal letter written to all.
I. God’s Word Only Reveals “Truth”
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for…” II Timothy 3:16. Romans 3:4 says “…let God be true, but every man a liar;…” All truth is founded in God’s Word-Nothing else. Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” God’s Word must be accepted by faith. Hebrews 11:6 says; “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
II. God’s Word Reveals “Man’s Condition”
Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:22-23 “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
God says ALL ARE SINNERS not just a few but all. This is a truth that must be realized before one can be saved. There will be no chance to be saved from SIN until you acknowledge to God that you are a sinner.
III. God’s Word Reveals “The Results of Sin”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” James 1:15 “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” The results of sin is death spiritually; Death is the eternal separation from God; All sinners are condemned to die.
IV. God’s Word Reveals “The Eternal Home of ALL Lost Sinners
Luke 16:23 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” Hell is a literal place of fire and torment. Hell is not a place of imagination. If you die as a lost sinner you find out immediately that hell is real.
V. God’s Word Reveals “Another Truth”
That God sent a substitute for all who will accept His provision – That Substitute is Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 1 Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” Jesus had to die for us. Hebrews 9:22 “…without shedding of blood is no remission.” Jesus died in our place. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
VI. God’s Word Reveals “That Mankind Can Have Forgiveness Of Sin, and An Eternal Home In Heaven.”
The Philippian Jailor asked Paul and Silas, Acts 16:30-31 “…what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Simply believe on Christ as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried and rose again for your justification. Isaiah 53:1“Who hath believed our report?…”
If you believe this report, you can be saved by putting your faith into action. Ask God to be merciful to you a sinner. In doing this you are making a choice of Jesus as Saviour and Lord, and heaven as your home. You are making a choice to turn from the world, the flesh, and Satan, to God. This is repentance. For the Bible says in Luke 13:3 “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” And also in Ezekiel 18:30 “…Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.”
This is God’s Plan of Salvation. Not faith in self or works, but in Christ alone. Galatians 2:16 “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Are you saved? If not, why not trust Christ right now to save you. He wants to. Don’t put it off. 2 Corinthians 2:6 “Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.” Proverbs 27:1 “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”
The Bible says, Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If by faith you will receive Christ into your heart, He will save you. You must call upon Him.
