Tract Text
Thank you for the service I received and your attention to my needs. In appreciation of your kind service, I would like to offer you a gift. This gift, if you are willing to accept it, is free and it will change your life forever. However, you are welcome to reject this gift, but it is not recommended. If you are ready to receive your gift, please continue to read.
I am sure that you have heard about Heaven and Hell. Heaven is where God reigns, while Hell is where Satan resides. What you may not know is, once you die, you will spend forever and ever in one of these two places. Hebrews 9:27 reads, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” This judgment means Heaven or Hell. You can either spend forever in Heaven with God or in Hell with Satan. The good news is, you get to choose where you go. Just as you get to choose how much you will be smiling at your customers or how nice you are going to be to them, you get to choose whether or not you go to Heaven.
The Bible states in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” The word “sin” is an action verb meaning a violation of God’s Law (the Bible). Some examples of sin are lying, stealing, disobeying parents, etc… Since all have sinned, all have violated God’s law and must pay a penalty for breaking His rules, and that penalty is death. Romans 6:23a states, “For the wages of sin is death…” Just as you get a wage for working, you get a wage for sinning, and that wage is death.
The good news is, there is a second part to Romans 6:23 and this is where the free gift comes in that I promised you. Romans 6:23b states, “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God has given you a gift of eternal life (living forever) in Heaven. This gift will not keep you from dying, but it will allow you to spend eternity in Heaven after you die. All you have to do is accept this gift. If you accept this gift, you will spend eternity in Heaven with God. However, if you reject this gift, you will spend eternity in Hell. That is why I recommended earlier that you not reject this gift. I do not want you to spend eternity in Hell. I want you to spend eternity in Heaven.
John 3:16 explains what this gift is that God has given you, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God’s gift to you was sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross to pay for the penalty of your sins. God loved you so much that He was willing to send His Son to die for you. God’s gift was a gift of love. All you have to do is accept this gift.
Remember how I told you at the beginning that you get to choose whether you go to Heaven or Hell? Well, here is your chance to make that decision. You can accept God’s gift right now by asking Jesus into your heart and spend eternity in Heaven with God, or you can reject the gift and when you die without ever accepting this gift, you will spend eternity in Hell.
If you want to accept this gift, then please sincerely pray (talk) this prayer:
“Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I don’t deserve to go to Heaven. But I believe that you sent your Son to die on the cross for my sin. I repent of my sin and trust Him, and Him alone, to forgive my sin and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Romans 10:13 states, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you prayed that prayer and accepted the gift that God has offered, then you have called upon the name of the Lord and you are saved. You will now spend eternity in Heaven with God and other believers.
