Tract Text

If you were to die today and stand before God in Heaven and He were to ask you, “Why should I let you into Heaven?”, what would your answer be? Sadly, many people would not know how to answer that question.

They would give answers like: I have been a good person, I was baptized, I went to church, I lived a good life, I never killed anyone. Yet, NONE of those answers are correct. There is only one true answer to the question.

Is it really possible to know that you will go to Heaven when you die?

The Bible, God’s Word, says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” 1 Jn. 5:13

Born Sinners

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Rom. 3:23 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isa. 59:2 God’s Word declares the truth that we have all disobeyed God’s law and thus we are ALL guilty!

Sin’s Penalty

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Jn. 3:36 “For the wages of sin is death…” Rom. 6:23 The wages of our sin, what we earned because we deliberately disobeyed God’s law, is death. Not just physical death, but spiritual death. This means eternal separation from a Holy God, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Rev. 20:14

Another Way

But God has provided a FREE gift to pay for our sin, “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom. 6:23 God the Father, gave Jesus Christ to die as payment for our sin. This GIFT can ONLY be received, not earned.

God Loves You

Why would God give His only Son to die for ungodly people like us? “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom. 5:8 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jn. 3:16 To believe in Him is: 1) to admit God’s Word is true, 2) you are a sinner according to His Word, and 3) Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross, was buried and three days later arose bodily from the grave to make the payment for our sin debt.

Repentance

Good works, baptism, church attendance, religion, charity, etc., cannot save us from the wrath of God. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9 Only faith in the blood of Jesus can cleanse our soul from sin and take us to Heaven. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Eph. 1:7

True Biblical repentance is a willingness in our heart to turn from the sin that is hindering us from accepting Christ as our Saviour. “For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.” Psa. 38:18 “…repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 20:21

Conviction

We must realize that God, the Holy Spirit, convicts us of our lost condition. He shows us we are in need of a Saviour. Is God speaking to you? “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” Jn. 16:8 When the Holy Spirit deals with us is when God extends His mercy for us to be saved. Conviction is God telling us we are a sinner with no hope outside of Jesus Christ. “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Jn. 12:32 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Jn. 6:44 The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to reveal the truth about the consequences of our sin and gives us hope of a Saviour. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Rom. 10:17 The worst mistake we can make is to reject the Holy Spirit when He is dealing with us to trust in Christ for salvation! “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isa. 55:6

Conclusion

The choice is completely up to you. God will not force you to receive His FREE gift of eternal salvation. It is yours today if you, by faith, would trust the Saviour, Jesus Christ. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Rom. 10:13

My friend, is God speaking to you and telling you that you are on your way to the awful place called Hell? Please consider the two choices you have: 1) Do nothing about your eternal destiny, or 2) humbly confess to God that you are a sinner, you believe He shed His blood for your sin, you are sorry for breaking His laws, and ask Him to have mercy and forgive you of your sin. “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Cor. 6:2 I beg you to make the right choice. If you decide to ignore this warning, remember that God’s Word will be used against you in the great Day of Judgment revealing your rejection of His FREE GIFT of salvation.

God’s Word says He is: “…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Pet. 3:9 If the Lord is dealing with your heart, would you sincerely and humbly make this meaningful prayer to Him?

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Rom.10:9

Receive Christ

“Dear Jesus, please have mercy upon me, a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for me, and I believe that it is Your blood that washes my sin away. I believe You were buried and that God raised You on the third day. Now will You please come into my heart, forgive my sin and save my soul? Thank You for saving me. In Jesus name, Amen.”

We hope and pray you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour. If you have, please contact us below to learn more about how you can live a Godly, Christian life.
